The mission of the Hannibal Fire Department is to provide the best emergency service possible, through constant training, professional leadership and dedication, and to minimize the loss of life or property resulting from fire, medical emergencies, accidents, hazardous materials, and other disasters.

As part of this duty, the Hannibal Fire Department (HFD) strives to progressively grow and evolve to meet and exceed the demands of changing times and technological advancements. The HFD provides a broad range of modern prevention, education, and protection services which are supported by three fire houses that are staffed twenty-four hours a day. In an attempt to further satisfy the needs of the public, this web site was designed and established to offer another channel through which the HFD can deliver additional information and services that are accessible on a twenty-four hour a day basis.
