The Hannibal Fire Department has teamed up with the American Red Cross to offer free smoke alarms with installation to the Hannibal Community. Every year, there will be one event in the spring and one event in the fall to provide neighborhood installations. Each event will focus on a particular section of the city. Smoke alarms will also be available year round on an individual basis to any household in the City of Hannibal.

Hannibal Fire Department is proud to welcome Fire Pup to the department. He is the fire safety mascot that will assist with fire education presentations. As a friendly and positive role model for children, Fire Pup will help educate and entertain local kids about multiple aspects of fire safety.
